However, this oil is mainly found in both raw and boiled linseed. Raw linseed oil is used for medicinal purposes. And boiled linseed oil is used for the sealant. Boiled linseed oil is toxic because it contains metallic drying ingredients.

As a result, it is allowed to be used in various outdoor equipment. However, keep in mind that boiled linseed oil does not contain petroleum. If you have collected raw linseed oil, you can boil the oil.

Tung oil is relatively expensive so it is recommended to use it in your small wood projects. You can buy walnut oil from any grocery store.
Consider which oil you want to use for your project. Then buy oil according to the size of your project.

Make a mixture: Make a strong sealant for wood application. In this case, take turpentine and apple cider vinegar. Take one part oil and half apple cider vinegar and one part turpentine to make the mixture. This mixture is able to give a little durable finish to your wood.

Prepare the wood: Rub the wood surface with sandpaper and level the wood. Now clean the wood. Clean it well with a dry cloth. Make sure there is no dirt left on the wood.

Apply the oil mixture to the wood: Take a clean cotton cloth. This time pour a small amount of oil mixture. Coat the oil well on the wood surface with a cotton cloth.

Dry the first coat: Dry the oil mixture. And remove the excess oil from the wood. It takes 20-30 minutes to dry the oil.
